About Me
Membership Background
I started my membership career in 2007 and worked for a variety of different membership organisations over the years:
- Institute of Administrative Management (IAM)
- Royal Commonwealth Society & Club
- Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS)
- The RAF Museum
- The Law Society of England and Wales and finally,
- The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).
Freelance Consultant
In 2018, I became a self-employed freelancer and joined the MemberWise Network as an Associate Director where for 4 years, I organised the events programme of two annual conferences, ran the weekly webinars and tech events as well as developing the mentoring programme and writing thought leadership articles. At the same time, I built up my consultancy business and have worked with many membership organisations on different projects in the last seven years. Speaking and Awards
I've spoken and chaired at several MemberWise Conferences, spoken at the Association World Congress in Brussels, won MemCom Awards for my segmentation model (Law Society) and member magazine (RAF Museum) and contributed to a chapter devoted to membership for the Arts Marketing textbook published by Routledge.
